“When they started to move into this area, it didn’t take much time to realize that they had killed a lot of other chimpanzees there,” Mitani said. “Our observations help to resolve long-standing questions about the function of lethal intergroup aggression in chimpanzees.”

En mi seminario de antropología, la profesora nos facilito este video para analizarlo utilizando la teoría de la ruptura del libro “Modernidad en grande :Dimensiones culturales de la globalización” por Arjun Appadurai, al igual que los términos de conflicto entre localidades y vecindarios. Les sugiero que lo vean y hagan una reflexión sobre los conflictos que surgen entre las personas sea por razones étnicas, económicas y el poder cual ha sido la principal causa de muchas luchas de la historia de la humanidad.

In my Seminar of anthropology , the teacher sent us this video, to analyze it using the theory of rupture from the book “Modernity at large: Cultural dimensions of globalization” by Arjun Appadurai. I anylized it using the terms of conflict between villages and neighborhoods. I suggest you see it and do a reflection on the conflicts that arise between people because of ethnic differences, economic and power which has been the main cause of many fights in the history of mankind.
